Corrections and reports
Report an error
Name the article, the passage concerned and the nature of the error, attaching the source that establishes it where possible. A dated report gets a reply; requests without verifiable evidence do not lead to a change.
What is corrected, what is clarified
An error of fact — a figure, date, name or attribution — produces a correction displayed with the article. An ambiguous formulation produces a clarification. In both cases the note stays visible: articles are not changed silently.
Comment moderation
New articles do not collect comments on the page. Comments received through the former reader remain subject to the same moderation and decision record.
